Your Design Guide

This guide will aid you in the first step of our project. Since each space has its own characteristics, we cannot just fit any layout into your rooms or a random plan into your land. The aim behind this page is to give you a general idea about the process of work in case you will choose the distance-design package (without execution and site supervision).

1. Interior Design or Renovation:

So you are planning to change the interior of one or more rooms in your house? We will ask you to take measurements of your floor plans, specify where your electrical outlets and lighting fixtures are, and take photos from specific perspectives. Please indicate the North sign on your plan.

Let's assume we are to renovate a rectangular room. In such a case, you will have to take photos from the four corners; each photo will show the opposite corner, i.e two walls.
Second, take photos of any nearby connected space, be it a hallway, a kitchen or a balcony.
Third, take pictures of the ceiling.

Electrical works layout Guide
Specify on the plan where all outlets, switches and lighting fixtures are. Note the height of the outlets.

2. Interior architecture:

You have bought an unfinished apartment and you want to add wall divisions and allocate specific number of rooms in the given area?
Or you want to completely renovate your apartment/house by rearranging rooms and functions?
In case you have the building plan, email it to us, and that's it, you're done.
In case you will be renovating, then it will be great if you have the plan. Otherwise, we will have to take measurements of the whole space. Please indicate the North sign on your plan.

The architecture and the exterior facades are of great importance to the interior architecture. A clear photo would be a grand addition. A photo of the main entrance or staircase/exterior landing is requested as well.

Electrical and sanitary works layout Guide
Specify if you have shafts or not. If yes, please indicate their location. Shafts can be used for ventilation, water supply(referred to as raises in this case), waste water and cables.
A shaft is defined as a permanently built vertical opening that allows access/services to various levels of a building.Shafts are extremely important for electrical and sanitary works; whenever possible, we will introduce them to your projects to guarantee top quality work.

3. Architecture and Structural Engineering:

Whenever we want to build a new building, several factors should be studied: the lot area, the location, the landscape, the weather conditions, the views, and the surrounding. The second step is the investment calculations, the lot shape study, and the requested type of building research: residential, commercial, entertainment, service..etc. The third step is of course the architecture: volumes, facades, functions, and divisions. All we need is your land plan, investment ratio/percentile, and pictures and/or video of the surrounding and the landscape.
Please note that we offer official documentation and construction permit in Lebanon and Egypt only.

4. Kitchen:

Although a kitchen is an interior design subcategory, but this particular space requires special design treatment. We will need measurements of your floor plan, electrical outlets and lighting fixtures locations, sanitary work (supply and drainage), windows and doors location and dimensions, and photos from specific perspectives. Please indicate the North sign on your plan.
